Her smile was bright as she asked the clerk at the make-up counter for directions through the department store. As the clerk was showing her how to find the lingerie department, she commented on the gorgeous antique engagement ring on her hand. She smiled at the clerk and went off to shop.

It was a short ride up to the third floor on the escalator. She saw the sexy lingerie on the mannequins as she stepped off the escalator. Hmm, soft green was her favorite color, but she had to find something spectacular in white for her wedding night.

She was really looking forward to her honeymoon trip and stopped to try on some bikinis. She bought three of them. I deserve these she thought to herself as she paid for them.

She took all the garments into the dressing room. Plopping down her armful of garments, she tried them on and checked the fit in the mirror. Well, all those hours at the gym paid off she thought to herself. She stepped over to the piles of sexy white garments and thought of John her fiance. She went back to the dressing room and tried on several white nightgowns and checked her reflection in the mirror.

She had her arms full of new clothes and still she stopped to look at purses. She has a white sequined bag for her wedding day. There was a pale green hobo bag that was just the shade she loved. She purchased it to take on her honeymoon.

She bought white jeans, blue jeans and some shorts. These will be cool on the honeymoon she thought. Now she needed some blouses to wear with them. She went over to the ladies department and picked out some shirts for girls. She bought three to match pin shorts, plaid shorts and the jeans. She left the ladies department with her new purchases added to the bag.

She was a little hungry and thirsty now, and went into a restaurant. Sitting in a booth, she felt revived by the air conditioning. She scanned the menu as she cooled off.

One salad and iced tea was all she ordered when the waitress came over. She made a mental note to eat cheeseburgers and fries after the honeymoon. Her diet was strict for now though.

She was a perfect size four and did not want her wedding dress to be too tight. She smiled to herself as she thought of the big day ahead. John would love her gown and the bikinis an nightgowns she had bought too. The waitress told her what was available for dessert. She said she was full and thanked her and got up to leave.

She hummed the wedding march on her way to the car and as she drove home. She had many things to do before the wedding. As she walked into the house, she saw the sun flashing on her antique engagement ring. She ran in the house to show her mother all the new garments. She shouted out that she had found all the clothes she needed.

Steps Involved With a Classic Wedding Reception Program

Many people consider their wedding to be the most important day of their lives; it is only natural, then, that they will spend plenty of time and money planning the event.  This includes everything, right down to the arrangements for the wedding reception.

If you’re getting ready to plan a reception, here’s a look at how a standard one usually goes.

The wedding reception is often held immediately after the marriage service, usually as soon as possible.  After arrival guests are greeted and seated. In the event that there is a set seating arrangement, this should be followed. If this is not the case, the guests can locate a seat of their choice and also choose who to sit with.

Following this, ensure that the parents and other significant guests are seated at the head table.

Once most people are seated, ask that the entourage members, except the primary sponsors and parents, assemble around the receiving area.  Everyone must gather at the exact same moment. The order in which they are called is:  flower girls, ring bearers, secondary sponsors, groomsmen with the bridesmaids, and then the best man and maid of honor.

After this, the couple makes their grand entrance, to the accompaniment of effects such as confetti, bubbles, fog, etc.

After the couple has arrived, make sure that the parents and main benefactors are shown and permitted to stand and wave. Then request the couple to go to the cake area for the cake cutting ceremony.  Next comes the formal toast with glasses of bubbly, with perhaps a dove release too.The maid of honor traditionally performs  an thanksgiving prayer at this time. After this comes the meal, in which the guests are called for pictures with the bride and groom.  Next, they proceed to the buffet area to operate things there. There are multiple types of cheap wedding cake.

The wedding singer starts performing once all the guest have ate their meal and are once again seated.    Should there be an audio-visual display, it shall follow.

After this, the best man does a grand toast, and then come words from well-wishers for the couple.  Only a few of these should be allowed, otherwise it will become too busy.Once this is done, the Bride has a dance with her father, and then the groom steps in and enjoys a dance with his new wife.  Other dances, if done, can come after this.

At the end of the celebration is the bouquet-tossing ceremony, where the bride throws her bouquet into a waiting group of single women; there is also a similar ceremony where the groom shoots a garter for the single men, which is called the garter cermony. Dont ever forget candle wedding favors or wedding favor ideas!

This type of plan has several possible outcomes.  Not every wedding reception utilizes a live band or performers, for example, and in some cases there is a special dance between the groom and his mother.  By barely tweaking the standard program, your reception will offer originality to keep your guests engaged while maintaining tradition.
